22nd Fórmula SAE BRASIL Competition

The Formula SAE BRASIL competition aims to provide engineering students with the chance to put the knowledge acquired in the classroom into practice through the development of a complete project: a Formula-type vehicle. The work is done in teams.

Created in 2004, Formula SAE BRASIL is on its way to its 21st edition. In 2019, it involved more than 1400 participants, a number that grows significantly each year. The top-ranked teams earn the right to represent Brazil in two international competitions held in the USA.

In 2022, we had the first edition of the SAE BRASIL Challenge & Ballard Student H² Challenge. In it, students from different states had the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and interact with experienced engineers from the national and international industry, in the application of hydrogen in Baja and Formula SAE vehicles. This was the first competition of its kind at a global level.
