Simulink Variant Manager

Configure, manage, and analyze variants

Simulink Variant Manager enables management of variations in components, parameters, and interfaces within models and architectures. You can manage variant-specific artifacts, reuse common assets, and define system-wide constraints to ensure consistency during product development. You can automatically generate or manually configure variant configurations for simulation. Simulink Variant Manager helps you identify dependencies, coverage gaps, and inconsistencies across variant configurations.

For deployment and collaboration with customers or suppliers, you can generate standalone models that include only the selected variant configurations. Also, you can review these models with a comparison report (with Simulink Report Generator). You can use variant configurations for testing and validation (with Simulink Test).

Support for the AUTOSAR standard is available (with AUTOSAR Blockset).

Create Variant Configurations

Generate variant configurations automatically or create them manually by selecting combinations of variants in components, parameters, and interfaces. Simulate the model using the selected configuration.
