Why do I see "Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)" in the Network License Manager's log file?

You are seeing this error either because...

1. The Host ID tied to the product in your license does not match the Host ID that the Network License Manager recognizes from your computer. Host IDs can either be a MAC address or IP address.
2. The Host ID used in the SERVER line of the license file on the Network License Manager is incorrect.

To determine the Host ID that the Network License Manager recognizes from your computer, in the log file, look for the section with the header "=== Host Info ===". Make sure that the products in your license are generated with a recognized Host ID.
