Test connection failed in arduino uno

I been trying to connect arduino uno via USB but i end up with 'Test connection failed. Go back to check your settings'.

In Hardware Settings/Hardware Implementation/Target Hardware resources/Host-board connection/Set Host COM port to Manually Specifiy and enter your COM number.

If you're using windows open Device manager to get the correct COM for your Arduino.
