low pass filter VS high pass filter

Iwant to ask which result is better?low pass filter OR high pass filter?

A cute question. The low-pass filter let the low frequencies pass, while the high frequencies are blocked, and vice-versa for the high-pass filter. If you want to suppress the low frequencies, the high-pass filter is "better". To be correct, the low-pass filter would destroy the searched signal in this case - therefore it is not "worse", but wrong for your task.

HOW DO YOU SEE THE CUT OFF FREQUENCY TO USE A HIGH PASS FILTER, WE DON'T KNOW WHERE WE HAVE TO CUT IT

Different kinds of filters are used for different purposes. There are situations where one is appropriate and not the other.

yes I have read it
he wrote about when the high pass better than low pass:)
but I ask about the situation on which LOW better than HIGH?
I think when image is very noisy the low is better than high
is that correct?
