Uigetfile does not open file selection box in standalone app

I have an app that I have designed, that works as a Matlab app. When I export it as a Standalone app, the file selection box from uigetfile does not open. The rest of the functionality (that does not depend on uigetfile) seems to be working fine. This is the code that is not working.

Which MATLAB version are you using? There was a problem like that in roughly R2016b timeframe I think it was.

I am using R2019b. The issue is not only with uigetfile, but also with uiputfile and uiprogressdlg.

The solution to this problem was using Matlab R2018a to compile instead of R2019b. It now works.
