Hi,
I want to have 2 data sets with the same size and projection, to do my analysis. As one can see, Image 1 is different than Image 2, but both have the same resolution (360x720). If I choose a specific location (x,y) each images show me a different area. My question is how do I need to adjust/change projection (the second image) to obtain an image like image 1.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

That is not the same projection. South America is noticeably taller in the second map.
In any case, you probably need to use Image Registration.

The projection of the 2. image is called EASE-Grid 2.0. How do I need to do the projection change from EASE-Grid 2.0 to "Matlab's projection".

I seem to be mostly finding software for the other way around, converting other things to EASE-grid 2.0.
