Why am I unable to access MATLAB Online when I am associated to a Campus-Wide License as a license administrator?

When logging in with my account for MATLAB Online, I am given the message:

ERROR: "Unable to login because user has no entitlements associated with activation key."

I am the license administrator of my Campus-Wide License. Why am I unable to access MATLAB Online?

License administrators of Campus-Wide Licenses will not have access to MATLAB Online. MathWorks is currently investigating the matter.

As a workaround, you should be able to access MATLAB Online by adding yourself as a licensed end user. Please follow these steps in order to do so:

1. Go to your License Center
2. Select your license 
3. Go to the ‘Manage Users’
4. Click ‘Add Users’ and proceed with adding yourself as a end user. 

You should now be both a license administrator and a licensed end user on the Campus-Wide License.
