What size of output are you expecting when you multiply 100 columns by 49 columns ?

Sorry thats a bit confused, what im doing is. I have got a data set with 2 columns
column 1 : 100 100 100 100 100 100 100
column 2 : 200 200 200 200 200 200 200
i want column 1 total amount and column 2 total amount and multiple it in the end;
example : column 1 = 700 total, column 2 = 1400 total
and last step i wanted to do is multiple the total amount
700*1400= 980,000.
But how am I doing it on Matlab ?
