Hi, There was an error when I was running my code: The function 'histcountsmex' corresponding to the input parameter of type 'double' is not defined. I've updated my matlab version to 2017b but the function is still missing. What should I do?

- In older releases histcountsmex was called by histcounts. The function was not documented and thus it may be changed or removed without notice.
- By which function was histcountsmex called when this error happened?

histcountsmex is still called by histcounts. It is near line 280 in R2017b.

In R2014b and R2015a, histcountsmex was an actual mex such as histcountsmex.mexmaci64 . In R2015a through R2017b (newest), it is histcountsmex.p . In all cases, it was in the toolbox/matlab/datafun/private directory -- for example /applications/MATLAB_R2017b.app/toolbox/matlab/datafun/private/histcountsmex.p on Mac.
