Making two images of equal dimensions in MATLAB

i am trying to apply SURF algorithm, http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/28300 which is the algo to find the key points and matches corresponding two images, but the problem is that in my case , i want to apply that algo with two images, but they are of different dimension and so it fails to work, could you please tell what shall i do so that both images become equal dimensions.

You mean imresize doesn't make your images the same size? Wow. Better submit a bug report.

actually i am new to matlab so i wasnt aware of it that imresize can have more options/arguments that can be included in it, so when i explored more i was able to solve my problem !thank you!

B = imresize(A, [rows cols]) , before this i was applying imreszie to both images , and was doing, B=imresize(A,0.5)

Ah, OK (except that now you blew away B and made it a copy of A). The correct way, that hopefully you're doing now, should be very much like this:

% Get size of existing image A.

[rowsA colsA numberOfColorChannelsA] = size(A);

% Get size of existing image B.

[rowsB colsB numberOfColorChannelsB] = size(B);

% See if lateral sizes match.

if rowsB ~= rowsA || colsA ~= colsB

% Size of B does not match A, so resize B to match A's size.

B = imresize(B, [rowsA colsA]);

end

Note that checking numberOfColorChannels is very important because often images that people think are grayscale are actually color once they've read them in from disk.
