Can't load a specific *.mlapp file to AppDesigner

Hello, I created an interface using App Designer (2016b) and I compiled it to an *.exe and it's fully functional. I have been having hard time to load the *.mlapp file again into App Designer to edit it. it's giving me a msg box (Error loading *.mlapp). I don't know what caused this file permanently not to open.

If the particular .mlapp file was created on versions prior to R2016b, and you are attempting to edit from prior versions, the following bug report might be helpful:

this happened to me also i think .mlapp file is corrupted but after i updated to matlab R2017a it opened so try this it may works.
