- Go to the Archived MathWorks Documentation. Click the desired release and locate the "Release Notes" button (location of this button will vary depending on release)
- Navigate to URL https://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R20XXx/relnotes/index.html, where "R20XXx" is replaced with the desired release from the past 4 years (ex. R2023a).

The release notes from the past 4 years can be found in two ways:
Releases More Than 4 Years Old:
If would like release notes for a release of MATLAB more than 4 years old and you have a current subscription to MathWorks Software Maintenance Service (SMS), you can reach out to MathWorks Technical Support to request release notes.
