COM1 port not communicating error

I'm using matlab 2016a..when i run the program I'm getting error as COM1 not available..but my device manager shows arduino board is connected with COM1 port..

When the arduino is in use, COM1 would be busy.

I want to interface matlab with arduino. So after creating a new program in matlab when I run the program in editor window it shows error as COM1 is not available or could not communicate with COM1
