How to save an excel file as PDF through Matlab on Mac?

Hello,

I am a Mac user, I want to use matlab to write data in excel and then I want to save the excel file as PDF file format. I was able to do this on Windows using actxserver, but unfortunately this function doesn't work for Mac. Does anyone have a solution for saving an excel file as PDF file format?

I want to write a script in matlab to automatically save excel file as pdf file format. I know how to do this on windows, but I am trying to do this now on Mac and I didn't find any solution so far

Thanks Walter, I read your answer there and I understand that we need to use the function "System", but do you have any idea what should be the command in System to save the file as pdf?
