Can i still use MATLAB for free after the free 30-day trial?

I really wish to start using MATLAB but im worried about my projects i might start running with MATLAB. And as a student i might not be able to afford the monthly subscription/payment. i just wish to know if its possible for me as stuent to continue using MATLAB, even if theres an online version for me to use SIMULINKS

You can use MATLAB Online for 20 hours per month without any active license.

I am not sure if that gives you any Simulink access at all.

I am not aware that Mathworks currently offers any Student license for a monthly subscription. I know it offers Education licenses for montly subscription, but those are typically billed one year at a time (possibly pro-rated to align them with fiscal year end.)
