MATLAB Online: PNG exports are solid black rectangles + tiny EPS/FIG files — anyone else?

Hi all I’m on MATLAB Online and trying to export figures automatically. Even simple plots export to PNG as a solid black rectangle. EPS/FIG are tiny files (a few KB) and open as blank/near-empty. Is anyone has export figure as eps or PNG succefly. I triee exportfigure but i got the same result! I try with various browser, the same problem. I don't know what is the problem. Thank you

When I plot(rand(1,100)) and click on the axes toolbar and chose Save As, I get a low-quality png saved -- but it is not black and not nearly empty.

Which browser are you using?

I tried with google chrome and also with firefox

Google Chrome seems to be the most recommended by Mathworks as some features for some toolboxes apparently only work with it. I could not find in the online product info a specific list of requirements, however.

I'd stick with the advice to submit a support ticket...

I tested with:

• firefox desktop for MacOS Intel
• google chrome (same OS)
• safari (same OS)

On all of them, I had no problem plotting something, then using the axis tools to Save As png.

I think you'll need to submit this to Mathworks as an official support request/bug at <Product Support Page>. You'll need to prepare a sample case that illustrates what you did and the results to go with it; not just the words.
