How did you manage to install matlab on linux while activation_matlab.sh was still missing in the /usr/local/MATLAB/R2024b/bin/ folder?

Hi sree,
The missing file indicates that MATLAB was not installed. The activation scripts come with the MATLAB installation, so if MATLAB is not installed, these scripts won't be either. This usually happens if your installation files or passcodes only allow for a toolbox or blockset to be installed.
To correct this, rerun the installer and be sure MATLAB is selected for installation. If you are installing from downloads, make sure that you have downloaded the MATLAB product files. You can go through below documentation for more details regarding MATLAB installation on Linux platforms.
Hope it helps!
Thanks
