How to use multiple diaries in Matlab

How do I have two diaries in matlab for example:

>> diary a.txt
>> disp('1')
1
>> disp('2')
2
>> diary b.txt
>> disp('3')
3
>> disp('4')
4
>> diary b.txt
>> disp('5')
5
>> disp('6')
6
>> diary a.txt
>>

I want to see all the commands between diary a to be in that file and all in between diary b to be in diary b.txt

Using multiple simultaneous diaries is not supported.

If you were to disp() unique strings indicating the beginning and end of each diary location, then you could post-process the diary to extract what you wanted.
