find some people with allergies and take some pictures after you attack them with their allergen. All joking aside if this is academic work you may check with the biology or medical departments to see if anyone has done a study or has a collection, or knows of some people who would have a series of photos. You probably will not find an open quickly available online option but maybe a sight that keeps stock photographs mayhave some but i wouldn't put much faith in them being actual allergic eyes.
If you've chosen or been assigned this project, ask your sponsor or professor. You will have great difficulty getting any kind of medical images collection or database due to patient privacy laws. Anyway, this is not a MATLAB question. Even after you get some images, your next question would not be a MATLAB question but a question on what algorithm to use. So go to section 20.5 here in VisionBib, find an algorithm, code it up, and come back if you have MATLAB questions.
is there any image in google?
I don't know. It's easy enough to try. Did you? Whether there are any images of interest to you, I don't know.
What baffles me is how you got assigned to do this project without your sponsor providing the images. Let's say you came up with some fantastic algorithm, and now you turn it over to your end-user/sponsor. If they don't have any images to run it on, then what good is it to them? Why did you bother to write it if no one has any images to use it on???
Perhaps this is a perfect time to talk to the local medical center and see if it would be possible to setup shop and take photographs of patients' eyes if they are willing. Is that the scope of the project that was given by the sponsor?
I’m not aware of any such image database, and I couldn’t find one when I searched. The problem is that there is no specific need for it, because allergic conjunctivitis is relatively easy to diagnose and treat, and conjunctivitis is a non-specific response to a variety of stimuli, from irritants to infections. It would be almost impossible, on the basis of external appearance alone, to differentiate allergic conjunctivitis from other causes of eye redness.
There are several images available, although not in one database. One is on MedlinePlus.
I am a undergraduate student and this topic interested me most so i choose to work with it and i only have 1 month in hand. I need some one who already worked on it and have some clear image. thank you all for replying.
