I recently heard about MATLAB Online. What is it, and where can I learn more about it?

MATLAB Online is the web-based version of the MATLAB that can run within select supported web browsers from any computer with an active Internet connection, and allows collaboration, online sharing and access to compute resources maintained by the MathWorks. There is no need to download, install or maintain anything.
MATLAB Online interfaces with your files located on MATLAB Drive, which can synchronize with your desktop files, as well as your MATLAB Mobile files.

That is the wrong URL. The URL is https://matlab.mathworks.com . Notice mathworks as compared to mathwork -- the mathwork one is a site that pushes you to install a browser toolbar that does who-knows-what.

That's not the behavior I'm seeing. I recommend contacting your IT staff to determine if this is related to some security software and/or policies they've deployed on your machine and/or your network. If not, you and your IT staff should probably contact Technical Support using the telephone icon in the upper-right corner of this page and work with Support to determine why the browsers on your machine are flagging MATLAB Online as insecure and how to correct the problem.
