Is it possible to do a find and replace in Simulink models in Simulink 6.4.1 (R2006a+)?

With Edit > Find option it is possible to search a Simulink model for a particular expression. It is however not possible to do a find and replace. This would be convenient if I have to change a name which appears in several occurences in the model etc.

The ability to find and replace text in a Simulink model is not available in Simulink 6.4.1 (R2006a+).

Use find_system along with get_param/set_param

Still not available for newer releases? Not sure why a useful function like this does not exist.

How on earth is this not a feature? It should be so easy to implement - the finding is the hard part, now just let us change the name. Instead I have to manually overwrite 700 instance of a parameter i want to rename.
