Description
Specify the number of CAN interfaces to configure on Raspberry Pi®.
Each interface represents a separate SocketCAN channel (for example, can0, can1) that can be configured independently with its own protocol, bit rate, and transmit settings.
The value you select determines how many sets of CAN interface parameters are available in the Configuration Parameters dialog box.

Settings
1 (default) | 1 through 5Select the number of CAN interfaces.
1(default)Configure one CAN interface. This is suitable for single-channel CAN setups.
2through5Configure multiple CAN interfaces. For example, set to 2 for the Waveshare 2-CH CAN FD HAT which provides two independent CAN channels (can0 and can1). Up to 5 interfaces are supported for configurations with multiple CAN HATs or USB-CAN adapters.
