Switching Mode Power Supplies
Use the Mixed-Signal Blockset™ to resolve the mismatch between the fast switching frequency and the comparatively slower output frequency of the SMPS circuits. The SMPS objects and functions accomplish the speed matching by solving the circuit in each switch state before simulating the circuit and leveraging those solutions to guide the simulation. This approach reduces the simulation cost present in traditional circuit simulation techniques.
After simulating your circuit, you can validate your design using Measurements and Testbenches. You can also analyze your models using MATLAB® functions. For more information, see Analysis and Optimization.
