Alexandre

Alexandre Santos Brandão received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the same university, working on Aerial Robotics under a co-tutorship with the Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ), Argentina. Since 2010, he has been an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa, in the Department of Electrical Engineering (DEL). He is currently a permanent professor in the postgraduate program in Computer Science at UFV. He is the founder and coordinator of the Nucleus of Specialization in Robotics (NERo) at UFV. He works mainly on aerial robotics, non-linear control, robot cooperation, obstacle avoidance, and navigation strategy.
