I am investigating the communication (and the physical contact) of cells (neurons, myocytes or genetically modified cells) with electronic sensors (electrodes or field-effect transistors). I studied "Technical Biology and Bionics" in Germany, conducted PhD-studies in Europe's largest research center for interdisciplinary science (Forschungszentrum Juelich), and currently am a PostDoc at UCF's NanoScience Technology Center...
