Is it possible to use the REST API to create ThingHTTP requests?

We're looking at a MATLAB API to do this. Can you tell us more about your application? Why do you need to programmatically create thingHTTPs - does the external service you're using change their APIs? How often do you intend to invoke the thingHTTP that you set up?
