Hi
I have tried to create ones matrix size (36x5034313) And I get a out of memory error... What is the maximum size of ones matrix? If I'll convert the matrix to cell array I'll stil staying with error?
Or if someone can give my a soulution oh to create this matrix... Thanks

Perhaps you could recode to use 0's instead of 1's, and then use a sparse array?

A 36x5034313 matrix of type double occupies 1.45 GB RAM. If you have stored the values in a cell array before, at least 2.9 GB RAM are required. If you run a 64 bit version of Matlab and install some more GBs, this should work sufficiently.
