How can I download an earlier version of matlab?

I bought and downloaded the 2013a student version of Matlab, but I didn't realize it wasn't compatible for my OS. I have Mac OS X 10.6.8
Is there anyway I can download the 2012b version instead which will be compatible?

There is no R2012b Student Version.

You should contact a mathworks sales agent. They will give you a solution. Anyway, I would recommend you to update your OS instead.
