how to import merge cells in matlab

Hi. I have experienced issues when reading Excel into Matlab. I used xlsread... The problem is I have merged cells in Excel. So when I use xlsread, it doesn't work and gives me "Error using xlsread (line 247) Not enough input arguments." Can anyone help me with this?

Could you show your xlsread command line ?
