Matlab 2020a editor freezes when clicked

Matlab editor freezes as I click in the code shell. Any idea how to fix it? I am using matlab on macOS BigSur.

Hi Ankur,

You should upgrade MATLAB to the latest version since MATLAB is compatible with macOS 11 (Big Sur) from release R2020b onwards.

Earlier versions of MATLAB do not officially support macOS Big Sur. These versions may work, but MathWorks does not guarantee full compatibility with these releases on macOS Big Sur.
