Missing colormap info after packaging the app

Hi,
I use the appdesigner to convert x y coordination to heatmap (colormap in turbo).

It works well when runing in matlab environment (left fig).
However, when I share the app as a standalone desktop app, the colormap is forced to be parula (right fig).
Can anyone help me to solve this question? Thanks.

You only set the colormap in the else block, not the if block. Which block do you enter? Why not set the colormap after the if/else so that it applies no matter if you enter the if or the else?

I am also experiencing strange behavior with the 'turbo' colormap and the compiler. In my compiled code, calling colormap(turbo) or colormap('turbo') throws an error:
Exception : Unrecognized function or variable 'turbo'. [MATLAB:UndefinedFunction]
The same code works fine running from the command window, and which('turbo') shows the expected path to turbo.m in \toolbox\matlab\graphics\color\.
I have tried adding the "%#function turbo" compiler directive to my code but 'turbo.m' still gets missed by the compiler.
My workaround is to copy the 'turbo' colormap values into my own function and use that instead.
(This is with version 2020B)

I'm using deploytool and generating a standalone Windows executable. Also, I cannot add 'turbo.m' to the 'Files required for your application to run' section because I get the error: "The following files were not added because they are eitehr not accepted file types or are contained under MATLAB root."
The compiled program works fine when using 2023a; however our entire team is on 2020b so I need to stick with that for now.
Fortunately, the workaround is pretty simple; just copy the colormap values into a new function and use that.
