Can Matlab2013a use "Kinect for Xbox 360" sensor?

Hi...

I started working on Matlab2013a with Kinect for Xbox 360. I installed kinect for windows SDK v1.7. I am using Windows 7 Home Basic. I could able to connect when i plug it in 3.0 USB but the and my programs worked in Matlab. But when I connect it to 2.0 USB port, my programs don't run and i get an error.

Can I please get a solution to this?

What does "I get an error" exactly mean? Please post the error message, because we cannot guess this important detail.

MATLAB lets you connect to Kinect for windows:

not Xbox kinect sensor. These are different devices. The former is sold separately.

Try to use Matlab 2013a with SDK 1.6 I had the same problem with Matlab 2015a and SDK 1.7

But I'm using Kinect Xbox 360, so try Matlab 2013a with SDK 1.6
