How to design an image with black and white bits in matlab?

Can anyone guide me how to generate an image with black and white bits with any letter or any sign?

Try this:

grayImage = 255 * zeros(100, 100, 'uint8');
for k = 1 : length(rows)
    grayimage(row(k), columns(k)) = 0;
end

rows and columns are the 1-D vectors/lists of where you want there to be a black pixel. Obviously the values in there depend on that shape you want to draw.
