Near-field received signal equation for an antenna

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
For example, I have a one horn antenna(as TX and RX) and a symmetric object(or a point object for an easy task) in it's near-field freespace without noise. For near-field criteria any parameter set of diameter of the antenna and wavelength of the transmitted signal can be thought...
Then What will the received signal equation for this object at the antenna ?
The antenna and the object are not moving but the antenna's impulse response as it's characteristic function must be considered. The object backscattering function or it's RCS must be considered too.
How can I define an antenna's Impulse response in MATLAB syntax ? Considering both terms explained above, what must the received signal equation be in the near-field in MATLAB syntax ?
or does anyone have a simulation code for that ?
Thanks for the fast answers :)
