Error installing with FIK and downloaded installer
Show older comments
I have:
- A FIK from my administrator
- A network license file from my administrator
- R2020a installer for Linux from: https://uk.mathworks.com/downloads/web_downloads/download_release?release=R2020a
When I run the installer, providing the FIK and license file, I get:
(Mar 26, 2021 16:19:18) Reading from [redacted]/matlab-tmp/archives
(Mar 26, 2021 16:19:18) Starting local product/component search in download directory

(Mar 26, 2021 16:19:18) Archive search complete. 2 total files found.

(Mar 26, 2021 16:19:18) Missing Installation Files: Unable to locate the required files.
To use a File Installation Key, you must run the installer from a directory that contains the installation files.
I think the FIK is valid as if I change it I get a a sensible 'FIK is not valid' type of error.
What am I missing? can a FIK not be used to install with the installer?
