Why Embedded coder is not available for student license?

Hello,

Recently I bought a new student license with Matlab Coder but unfortunately I realized that the embedded coder is not available for student license. I wanted to use this tool in my real-time control course.

Is there any specific reason for this unavailability? I couldn't find it on the internet. Or is there a change to get a special licence during the course?

Hi Ermanas,

Unfortunately Embedded Coder isn't available for Student Version. Currently MATLAB Coder and Simulink Coder are available.

One thing you can try is to check whether Embedded Coder is available through your university/college's campus-wide license of MathWorks products.

Hello Bill,

Unfortnately my university does not provide any of the MATLAB licenses. All I can do is to get a student license to use MATLAB. I bought student suite license with Matlab Coder but as much as I understand I have no chance to get the license for the Embedded Coder with an Individual Student License.

I returned my license unfortunately, thank you so much for your reply.
