Mat file contain variables and their values. You can load it to the workspace. The file most likely contains test data. You need to fit a model to the data.

I mean i downloaded that model file from somewhere, now I want to make actual battery block in simulink which behave like that data model I downloaded, how can I do this, and thank you.
