how to make Reset Button in app designer

hello everyone, i have a problem for make a reset button in app designer. for the code with .value the result can't reset but in .text the result can reset. and my question is how to code for reset .value ? thanks

What type of edit field are you using? Text or Numeric?

Text fields can be blanked with a ' ' , but numeric fields can only be a value, so setting .value to 0 is the only thing you can do.

Hi,

you want to set the character array to a numeric field and that doesn't work. Numeric EditField components can't have an empty value. You can either set those values in green to zero, or change the EditField component to text one and use str2num.
