Can fitensemble be trained with custom weak learners?

Can a fitensemble like AdaBoost be trained with custom weak learners? Ie, say I wanted to use SVMs, neural nets, GAs, etc, is that possible? Or is it only possible to use trees, KNNs and discriminants?
