how to calculate the local binary pattern of each pattern of an image when the image is divided into patches.Can anybody suggest functions for it

When you say "patches", do you mean rectangular blocks? And if so, do you need to extend the calculation of the LBP to the adjacent blocks? If that is the case, how about if you use overlapping blocks anyhow?
