How can I get the userID from the web application browser

I have established a MATLAB webapp server hosted in Azure. How can I store/extract who is using my webapps?

Below I have used a MATLAB test application and when I right click in the window and select [Inspect] I can get a userID in the browser. In this case 79032ba3-9710-.... I guess this is what I am looking for. How can I get this "local Storage" parameter into my matlab application so i can store it? Or is there an easier way? I am not interested in authentication but only the user name, and potentially the Session Storage. I am using r2020b.
