How do I collect coverage for a MATLAB System block in Simulink?

I was running the Generate Code for Lane Marker Detector example , which has a MATLAB System block in it, and was only able to collect Execution coverage for the MATLAB System block.

I thought MATLAB System blocks received Decision, Condition, and MCDC. What am I doing wrong?

MATLAB System objects can receive Decision, Condition, and MCDC when they are configured to simulate using Code Generation.

In the example, the MATLAB System block is configured to simulate using Interpreted execution.

Simply change this to "Simulate using code generation" in the Block Parameters of the MATLAB System block.

You can then see the resulting coverage of the MATLAB code by generating a coverage report.
