How do I delete MATLAB Drive Connector? It has never worked and I always get "an unexpected error has occurred" on startup.

I don't see how it can be unexpected when it happens every time.
I can't delete from control panel uninstall.

You can directly delete the following folder, if you are not able to uninstall using control panel. For a windows machine, you can directly paste the below address in the File Explorer.
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\MathWorks\MATLABConnector
