Parsing an XML file with a MatLab posted example

Dear MatLab Experts,

I am having troubles at running the code presented in one of your published examples (attached) with my XML file (attached zipped).

The main function from the code sample does NOT create any output structure.

I followed the execution of the funtion step-by-step with the debugger. I see the code finds 15 children but does not store anything. Nevertheless it does not return any error.

I would appreciate some clues to move on.

Is my XML file any different from commonly found XL files?

Why no data nor attribute is extracted?

Yes but just that.

If you open the structure with an edir=tor that supports XML files you,ll see the file cotains a lot of stuff that is simply ignored.
