Assign response label to target and distractor

I have two pictures to present at target display and I want the subjects to respond by pressing x or y to indicate whether the target object or the distractor matches the object they have previously seen at the study phase. P1 is the target object while P2 is the distractor object. The two objects are drawn randomly in the screen on each trial. I want to draw two response labels x or y beside the two objects in the screen. After viewing the two objects they will then press x or y, x if they think the answer is P1 or y if they think the answer is P2. P1 is always the one that matches the object that was shown at study phase and I want on each trial for P1 to be assign with response label x and P2 with response label y. I'm stuck, please ur help will be greatly appreciated. (1)I have to call Screen(DrawTexture Mainwindow P1 [] black); (2) DrawFormatted Text(i.e. for the P1 label which is x. I don't know how to write the (2). How do I define rect for the label{'x' 'y'}? And how do I ensure that letter x is written beside P1 on each trial?
Thanks in advance
Tom

This appears to be the same question as http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/5750-assigning-response-label-to-target-and-distractor-in-a-trial

It appears to me that you are asking about routines provided by the third-party product psychtoolbox .
