Sorting of Airfoil Points

Dear All,

I face a strange problem in arranging the airfoil coordinates coming from a CAD program. Kindly find the attached excel file for the coordinates.

I have tried the usual angular sort with respect to the centroid of all the points, but it fails in certain region ( where the curve is concave in nature).

Kindly give your thought process to solve this ...

What is the purpose to sort? Already the given points are in order.....what else you want to do?

I have requirement to sort similar airfoil profiles exported from CAD Software. The 2nd set of coordinates are original.

First set is sorted manually with lot of pain... :)

i have a solution in python, opensource. youll need python 3.10. concave convex hull is the answer. and then you want to optimize the alpha parameter for minimal loss of accuracy
