Why is my simulink L2 Matlab s-function slower than my L1 Matlab s-function?

The algorithms are identical. L1 yields 6 s/s vs. L2 at 43 s/s. Does this make sense?

Derrick: Not sure that you will see such a large increase. This might require further analysis of your S-function code, which might be best for MathWorks Technical Support to handle.
