KIndly advise as to how I can model and simulate a fire alarm system on simulink. So if you can suggest any crediable and reliable learning resources that would be best.

Hi,

The following link explain how you can model a system which triggers on an event using Stateflow. The detection of fire is something which depends on how you are estimating it. This can be a starting point for making the alarm system after the fire is detected.
