Generating code from simulink

I've been trying to generate code from a simulink model. It keeps giving me the "too many input arguments" error. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

what is in your model?
Please also paste the exact error message.
Its a model of a bioelectrochemical system - nothing complex, just a large set of differential algebraic nonlinear equations.
The error reads, "Too many input arguments"
How are you triggering the error message?
Do you have Simulink Coder installed?
Tolutola: I was hoping there was more to the error message, like a stack trace. Could you maybe attach a snapshot of the error. (See Where can I upload images and files for use on MATLAB Answers?)
Also, I am assuming that you are able to simulate the model, correct?
The model works perfectly well in simulink. I want to generate code so I can use it in place of the visual model.
What is the process you are using to build the model? For example, I could build a model in the configuration parameters (build button), CTRL-B or do RTWBUILD in the MATLAB command window.

Which target are you generating code for? (grt or ...?)
You might want to reduce the model by removing the blocks and signals one by one (if possible) and generate code so that this way you can hopefully figure out which block is it that is giving you this error message.
